Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amelia Dollhouse I purchased the Amelia Dollhouse for my granddaughters birthday. She is in love with the dollhouse. I would buy from KidKraft again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would buy this again. It's a lovely house and was big enough at first. But as granddaughters have grown and all the accessories we've accumulated and now that they are a little older, more room is needed/wanted. I wish a free standing unit could be purchased to add the extra room needed. Like bedrooms for kids, walk in closet, etc. To add to the investment. The elevator is never used and hard to use - takes up too much real estate as does the stairs. If I could redesign it I would move them to the outside of the house. The stairs can be removed which is what we usually do. It would be nice if there was an option to just not assemble the elevator at all and have the second floor without the cutout. I do like that the rooms are larger in this house and not so compartmental as seen in other models. I'd make the bathroom much smaller as it's almost never played with either. We've converted it into a bedroom for Barbies "kids". I've also added white LED christmas lights throughout the house. Granddaughters love this house even better than the actual Barbie house which is flimsy plastic and twice as expensive.
