KidKraft Inc. and its subsidiaries and corporate affiliates (“KidKraft”) understand and respect your concerns about privacy, and we are committed to providing you with a rewarding and safe experience without regard to the manner in which you conduct business with us. This Privacy Policy describes the types of information we collect from you or that you may provide, how we use such information, and your choices regarding our use of such information.
This Privacy Policy describes how KidKraft collects and uses the information you provide on www.kidkraft.com (Site) and in connection with KidKraft services (Services). It also describes the choices available to you regarding our use of your information and how you can access and update this information. Your use of our website(s), including any dispute concerning privacy, is subject to this Privacy Policy. By using our Site, you are accepting the practices set out in this Privacy Policy.
KidKraft, Inc. continues to abide by the privacy principles and other requirements of the the California Consumer Privacy Act and, U.S.–E.U. Safe Harbour framework, and the U.S.–Swiss Safe Harbour framework as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of personally identifiable information from European Union member countries and Switzerland. KidKraft is aware, however, that the European Court of Justice and Swiss authorities have held that the U.S.-EU/U.S.-Swiss Safe Harbor Framework is no longer "adequate" for the transfer of personally identifiable information from the EU or Switzerland to the U.S. and will continue to strive for personally identifiable information compliance as U.S.-EU regulations continue to be developed and released to the public. Please review this privacy policy to learn more about how KidKraft protects the privacy of your personally identifiable information.
KidKraft does not sell the Personal Information, nor do we plan to do so in the future. If those plans change, this policy will be updated accordingly.
What Information We Collect
The types of information that we collect fall under two general categories: personal information and usage data. Personal Information (“PI”) consists of any information which can be used to specifically identify you as an individual, whereas usage data consists of aggregate information or non-PI information collected automatically from your device (e.g., smartphone, tablet) or your web browser. KidKraft obtains the categories of personal information listed above from the following categories of sources:
•Directly from you, when you provide it to us when you make a purchase on our website, create an account, join our Gift Registry, participate in a special event, program, survey, sweepstakes or contest or any other promotion contests, engage with us on our various social media platforms, participate in our surveys, send us any feedback, questions, comments, or interact with us in any way, and to provide information about our business and offer our products or Services to you and products and services of others that we think you may find of interest;
•Automatically as you navigate through our Website or use our mobile app(s). Such automatic data collection technologies include but are not limited to the following:
1. Cookies (or browser cookies). A cookie is a small file placed on the hard drive of your computer.
You may refuse to accept browser cookies by activating the appropriate setting on your
browser. However, if you select this setting you may be unable to access certain parts of our Website.
Unless you have adjusted your browser setting so that it will refuse cookies, our system
will issue cookies when you direct your browser to our Website. We do not link the cookies to any Personal Information.
2. Web beacons. Pages of our the Website and our emails may contain small electronic files known as web beacons (also referred to as clear gifs, pixel tags, and single-pixel gifs)
that permit the Company, for example, to count users who have visited those pages or opened an email and for other related website statistics
(for example, recording the popularity of certain website content and verifying system and server integrity).
We do not link the web beacons to any personally identifiable information.
3. Log Files. Any time you visit any of our Site, our servers automatically gather information from your browser (such as your IP addresses, browser type, Internet service provider (ISP),
referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks) to analyze trends, administer the Site, prevent fraud, track visitor movement in the aggregate, and gather broad
demographic information. For example, we may log your IP address for system administration purposes. IP addresses are logged to track a user’s session.
This provides useful information on which parts of our Site users are visiting. We do not share the log files externally. These technologies are used in analyzing trends,
administering the Site, tracking users’ movements around the Site, and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole.
We may receive reports based on the use of these technologies by these companies on an individual as well as aggregate basis.
•From social media, if you access our Website or mobile apps from a social media platform (e.g., Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook) or otherwise associate your account with us with a social media platform, we may receive information about you from such site, in accordance with that social media platform’s privacy policy and/or terms of use.
•From third parties; for example, our business partners. We also allow third-party companies to serve ads and/or collect certain anonymous information when you visit our Website or use our mobile app(s). These companies may collect non-personal information (e.g., subject of advertisements clicked or scrolled over, browser type, etc.) via a cookie or third-party web beacon.

• Personal Information About You. When you visit our Site or use our Services, we may collect the abovementioned Personal Information about you. Your responses to any of our questions about you will be kept strictly confidential, while other Personal Information about yourself (such as first and last name, address, etc.) may be used to build your profile. Finally, for interactive content and Services such as the KidKraft Blog, where you may choose to have a public profile, we may display your Personal Information to other community members and visitors. You may choose to provide us with your photo(s) or video(s) and by providing us such content, you agree that we may make them available to users of KidKraft’s Site or KidKraft’s blog, including without limitation, if you are selected as the winner of any promotion. Except as otherwise stated in this privacy policy, we do not disclose your Personal information to other users of our Site or Services. • Purchase Information. To process purchases, we may require your name, address, phone number, e-mail address and credit card information. Such Personal Information is used primarily to process your order or as otherwise described herein. Credit card transactions are processed through industry standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) and/or strong encryption (3DES) by a third party, which only uses your personally identifiable information for that purpose.
• E-mails And Telephone Calls. We require an e-mail address from you when you register for our Services. We use your e-mail for both transactional (e.g., order confirmation, refund and renewal processing) and promotional (e.g., newsletters, new product offerings, special discounts, event notifications, special third-party offers) purposes. E-mail messages we send you may contain code that enables our database to track your usage of the e-mails, including, whether the e-mail was opened and what links (if any) were clicked. Please note that even if you opt-out of receiving marketing communications from us, we may need to send you certain service-related communications relating to KidKraft goods and Services, such as product recall information. If you would rather not continue to receive telephone calls or text messages from us, you may change or delete your number from your account preferences page(s) or ask to be removed from our contact list by contacting us as detailed below, making the request during any telephone call, or sending "STOP" to any text message received from us.
• Online Survey Data. We may periodically conduct voluntary surveys. We encourage our visitors to participate in such surveys because they provide us with important information regarding the improvement of our Site or Services. You may also volunteer for certain surveys that we may offer to our users, and any additional rules regarding the conduct of such surveys will be disclosed to you prior to your participation. We do not link the survey responses to any Personal Information, and all responses are anonymous.
• Public Forums. KidKraft participates in discussion boards, such as blogspot.com and YouTube. Any Personal Information that is disclosed in these areas becomes public information and you should exercise caution, particularly with respect to you posting about children, when deciding to disclose any personally identifiable information. Please consult the community guidelines for each discussion board when posting comments on them.
Disclosure Of Your Information To Third Parties
We will only share your information with third parties in the ways defined in this Privacy Policy.
• Disclosure By Law. You acknowledge and agree that we may disclose information you provide if required to do so by law, at the request of a third party, or if we, in our sole discretion, believe that disclosure is reasonable to (1) comply with the law, requests or orders from law enforcement, or any legal process, such as a subpoena (whether or not such disclosure is required by applicable law); (2) protect or defend KidKraft’s, or a third-party’s, rights or property; or (3) protect someone’s health or safety, such as when harm or violence against any person (including you) is threatened.

We may share your Personal Information, sometimes in conjunction with your non-Personal Information, with service providers that may be associated with us to perform
functions on our behalf. For example, outsourced EDI (electronic data interchange) representatives may need access to your information to perform Services for you.
Your information will be treated as private and confidential by such service providers and not used for any other purpose than we authorize. In addition, from time to time,
we may share Personal Information (such as e-mail or mailing address) about our user base with carefully selected third-parties, so they can offer goods and services
that we believe may be of interest to our users, e.g., shipping partners, credit card processing partners, assembly partners, etc.

• Disclosure to Trusted Third Parties at Your Request. When visiting our Site, we may provide you with advertisements, promotions, sweepstakes, and offers from third-party providers. If you choose to accept any such offers, you may either (depending on the situation) directly provide your information in connection with the offer to such third-party provider, or we will provide your information, including, billing information, to the third-party provider by pre-populating the offer registration forms. Your information will not be transferred until you accept the offer. You may opt-out of the offer at any time up until this point. Please refer to the third-party provider’s own privacy policy (provided on the offer pages) if you have any questions regarding how your information is used by such providers. Please be aware that these offers may be presented on pages framed by a KidKraft website. Although these offer pages may have the look and feel of our Site, you will be submitting your information directly to the third-party advertiser. You agree that to the extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be responsible or liable for any loss or damage of any sort incurred as the result of any such dealings, including, the sharing of the information you supply to us with third-party providers described here, or as the result of the presence of such providers on the KidKraft Site.
• Information Transferred As a Result of Sale of Business. As we develop our business, we may buy or sell assets and, depending on the transaction, your information may be one of the transferred assets. In the event that we are acquired by another company, your information may be part of the assets transferred to the acquiring party. If this occurs, you will be notified if there are any material changes to the way your information is collected or used.
• Countries where Information May Be Disclosed. To the extent that KidKraft discloses any information to Trusted Third-Parties, they will likely be in the United States of America. KidKraft operates in numerous jurisdictions and will disclose as required by law in any jurisdiction where such disclosure is necessary to comply with the law or any legal process.
Children
We do not target our Services to children under the age of 16, and in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, any Personal Information we may receive from users we have actual knowledge to be under the age of 16 will be purged from our database.
Security
We have appropriate security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information stored in our database. These measures include the use of Secure Socket Layer (SSL) during administrative access to site data, as well as other proprietary security measures which are applied to all repositories and transfers of information. We will exercise reasonable care in providing secure transmission of information between your computer and our servers, but given that no information transmitted over the Internet can be guaranteed 100% secure, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information transmitted to us over the Internet and hence to the extent permitted by applicable law, accepts no liability for any unintentional disclosure. Links to or Access from Other Sites
You may be able to access your account or content of your account from third party sites, such as social networking sites, by way of various applications. The privacy policies and practices of such sites in connection with information you disclose on such sites may differ from the practices of KidKraft as set forth in this privacy policy, and you should review their policies and practices to ensure that the privacy of the information you submit on their site does not conflict with and is consistent with how you wish your information to be treated. When you visit such sites they may also place their own cookies or other files on your computer, collect data or solicit personally identifiable information from you. We are not responsible for the privacy policies or practices or the content of any other websites that may provide access to, or be linked to or from, this site, including that of any social networking sites and third party advertisers whose offerings require you to navigate away from our Site.
Our Site also includes social media features, such as the widgets, or interactive mini-programs that run on our Site. These features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on our Site, and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. Social media features and widgets are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our Site. Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing it.

Updating Your Personally Identifiable Information
KidKraft provides users the following options for accessing, deleting, changing and modifying personally identifiable information previously submitted. We will respond to your request to access personally identifiable information within 30 days.
