Great table!
I love this table. It went together so easily! The track itself is really cool, and the accessories are very well made. My only complaint is that the track pieces themselves do not seem to be quite as nice as some of the more popular brands of tracks- while the pieces do fit together pretty well, and are compatible with other brands, they just aren't carved out as nicely and the battery powered engines do not do well on them. The train that it came with, and other manual wooden trains work perfectly well on it though, and we are very happy with the purchase.

Great purchase
Bought this for my 2 year old grandson. Read many reviews on many train tables/sets and so glad I choose this one . One of the big factors was the table height as he loves to stand and play and it makes it easier to move the train around standing than those that have the kids sitting to use .. It's sturdy, easy to assemble and the train pieces and accessories are extremely nice . He is playing with it constantly and keeps getting better at keeping increasingling more train cars together on the track and going over bridge etc

Lots of Possibilities and Ways to Play
This was excellent for our 2-year old for Christmas. It's well made, all the pieces feel high quality and the possibilities for him to play are basically endless. He played with it for more than an hour straight which is really something at that age. The table itself assembled fairly easily, and the tracks went together quickly too, just watch out for the similar looking pieces with slightly different sizes, confusing those led a few minutes of the pieces not fitting together right. Also, and this is probably a shipping problem, but one of the corners of the base pieces was a bit dinged up. It doesn't impact the function at all and it's barely noticeable once assembled. Overall though, highly recommended.

Hours of fun
This was one of the easiest toys I've ever assembled. It comes apart easily too to store. It's really sturdy, which is nice because my boys climb everything. My wife loves the storage below it. No more losing pieces or stepping on them. My son loves the mountain and bridge and having the emergency vehicles with it. He plays train, town, emergency vehicles, you name it. He is 2.5 and spent almost two hours with it the first day we got it. I highly recommend this.

Overall nice product but I would not buy again
I purchased this train as for my 18 month old son as I knew he would enjoy pushing the train around the tracks. The overall quality is very nice and I love the storage bins under the table and that it will fold down compact when it is not in use. What I am most disappointed about is if we have the train set up with the engine and the four cars it will not pull around the tracks as they do not stay on the tracks even for myself and would be impossible for my son. If you push the cars individually they will turn and follow the tracks just fine but you cannot smoothly pull the entire train which is disappointing. I've purchased several kidkraft products over the years and I've always been impressed with the quality of the materials so I'm a little disappointed in the train.

Highly recommend!
This is high quality, durable and perfect design for toddler hands and coordination. My favorite design element is probably that the table quickly folds up and stores flat easily under the bed! It's not bulky or too heavy like other train tables. This one is the perfect size and the play pieces are diverse and hardy!

This table rocks!
Assembly; Piece of cake! We spent around 45 minutes setting it up for the first time, and that included swatting cats away from all the Styrofoam. Most of that time is the individual play pieces and the track. The table itself is essentially five big pieces that snap together, really simple and easy to take apart. The track layout is simple, no issues with the pieces fitting. Table; Cool design printed on the top, it's very sturdy. I think "adventure town" may be overselling it, it's really more of a standard metropolis with a mountain. The mountain might allow for some skiing, which is adventurous, I suppose. No sweet jumps or other features I would call adventurous. Accessories; The set comes with several trains and a variety of different types of cars. They are wood and should last for a long time, they work well with other brands too. There are characters that portray people you'd find in a standard metropolis, see note above. Again, no edgy or adventurous characters or vehicles, ahem. I can clearly see they aren't exactly matching in scale, but kids seem unbothered by this fact. Play; Our four year old daughter loves this thing! She has played with the wooden train toys for a few years, but having the table makes it more fun to play all the time. Aside from the trains and tracks, the other accessories make it fun to play with other toys on the table as well.

Disappointed in quality
We have purchased/ received as gifts for our children Kidkraft products and have loved them, however this was not the case with this train table. I appreciate that it has kept our child's attention, however it has not held up. We purchased this table so we could store it away and pull it out; We purchased it for Christmas 2017 and it has been out for about 5 months total but looks much older/more used then it should, our child is quite gentle with toys. From the beginning we received parts that were subpar/ broken and it is our fault for not returning the items within the return window. I expected some flaws as the pieces our wood, but most seemed to be chipped/ had paint missing. The plastic pieces the go on the side were misshapen/broken. The boards that make up the picture on the table had scuff marks on the picture especially along the edge when we purchased; Due to this when I used a damp cloth to wipe the table down it just made the picture/sticker rub off more. The wood pieces that form the tracks do not align well and there are sections were it is difficult to pull the train without it derailing... its even frustrating for an adult! I did not expect perfection, but found I was quite disappointed with the initial quality and how it has held up. Maybe we just got the lemon, but I would not recommend this train table and wished I would have purchased a different one.
